William Solan

Mr. Solan began his 41-year industry career in the drilling and well services business as a drilling fluids engineer for Dresser Magcobar. After 10 years of service and rising through the ranks, Mr. Solan left the organization as a Senior Account Sales Executive for the Western United States. Mr. Solan spent a period with Thorn Environmental as their Business Development Manager before joining with Soli-Bond, Inc. in 1989.

Mr. Solan has been an important part of Soli-Bond, Inc.’s growth over the last 30 years. His progressive leadership style that has earned him a reputation in the environmental waste management and energy exploration sectors as a leader with a consistent record of accomplishments. His proven success is in identifying and implementing strategic initiatives that outpace market conditions, increase revenues, reduce costs and improve profits.

His implementation of strategic operational and market growth plans for Soli-Bond’s Waste Management division is a large contributing factor in Soli-Bond having the largest market share position, year after year, in the western United States.

Mr. Solan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Slippery Rock University. His continuing education has taken him to Whitter College for geological field mapping and UCLA for landfill studies. He has received acknowledgment by the State of California as a Registered Environmental Assessor (REA I). He is a member of the California Independent Petroleum Association (CIPA), The American Petroleum Institute (API), The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), The Professional Environmental Marketing Association (PEMA) and numerous other environmental and energy sector industry organizations. He values the opportunity to give back to the community and serves on the Wildcat committee for Pyle’s Boys Camp benefiting underprivileged young men.
